Confidence can be dangerous

Confidence can be dangerous

Disclaimer: This is not really a golf related post.

So I’m watching the Monday Night Football Game when I get a text from a good friend (who happens to be a golf pro- hey!  this is a golf post, sort of) saying:

“I think I just saw Gruden’s camel toe.”

Mind you this is a friend who I speak with maybe three times a year (neither of us are big on chit chat over the phone) and go visit once a year, so for him to text me this, it struck me that it must be something noteworthy, and I responded:

“I’ll rewind the DVR for confirmation.”

And boy, was it confirmed.  See below.

First the wide shot:

Not too incriminating…but wait for the, ahem, close-up.

Nov2nd 052

The red tie is a nice touch…sort of pointing the way no?

How does this relate to golf?  Once again my friend had the answer:

“Blog – The use of confidence…it can deliver great golf shots. Over use of it – spread eagle broadcaster saying ‘look at my nuts world!’”

And shortly after the above shot Gruden said something about Sean Payton and Drew Brees playing golf together.  So there…it’s a golf post, about…balls.
